The ColourTemp clinical thermometer from Reer is equipped with an extra large, illuminated LCD display. After switching on the thermometer, the last measured temperature is automatically displayed for 2 seconds. The thermometer scores with a short measuring time of only 10 seconds. As soon as the thermometer detects an increased temperature in your child (from 37.6 °C), the thermometer display turns red. In addition, you will be alerted to the fever by a signal tone.
Thanks to the flexible measuring tip, even a fidgety baby can take a temperature gently and without any problems. In addition, ColourTemp has an automatic switch-off and is waterproof.

• Children under 12 years should not measure their body temperature unsupervised.

• The device must not be opened, except for the battery compartment cover. No modifications may be made to the device. If the device malfunctions, please contact your retailer.
• Keep the battery out of reach of children. There is a risk of swallowing.
• The thermometer contains sensitive electronic components. Therefore, protect it from shocks, bending, high temperatures, or direct sunlight.
• The minimum measurement duration until the signal tone is to be strictly observed.
• This thermometer is equipped with a flexible measuring tip, providing more comfort and safety during measurement, especially for toddlers, sleeping persons, or persons with impaired consciousness. The tip must not be bent more than 45°!
• Operation in areas of strong electromagnetic fields, such as next to a mobile phone, can lead to malfunctions.
• If temperature results are conspicuous, please contact your family doctor immediately.

• If the ambient temperature is above 35°C or 95°F, dip the thermometer tip in cold water for about 5 to 10 seconds before measuring.
Instructions for handling batteries
• If liquid from a battery cell comes into contact with skin or eyes, rinse the affected area with water and seek medical help.
• If a battery has leaked, wear protective gloves and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
• Protect batteries from excessive heat.
Choking hazard – small parts. Not for children under 3 years! Batteries could be swallowed by small children and cause choking. Therefore
keep batteries out of reach of small children!
