How to find the right Reer heater and the right childproofing products

Reer changing table heaters: which models are available?

Reer offers several ways to keep the changing area warm. These include wall-mounted heaters, models with a floor stand and units that can be mounted either way. They differ in how they are operated and how quickly they give off heat, among other things. The range is rounded out by a fan heater that warms the room air and also offers a fan-only function.

Wall mount or floor stand: FeelWell and EasyHeat Flex

The FeelWell is permanently mounted on the wall and has two heat settings and a tilting heating head. With the FeelWell2in1, you can choose between wall mounting and a floor stand. The EasyHeat Flex, on the other hand, is a height-adjustable standing unit that you can move to a different spot whenever you need to.

Fast warmth and remote control: HeatCare+

The HeatCare+ changing table heaters start giving off heat within just a few seconds and, according to Reer, use less electricity than the FeelWell models. You can choose between two heat settings and control the units by remote. The HeatCare+ is available for permanent wall mounting or with a floor stand, so you can set it up in a different spot when needed.

Fan heater with fan function: FeelWell Air 3in1

The FeelWell Air 3in1 provides pleasant warmth throughout the room instead of warming the changing area directly like a classic changing table heater. It offers two heat settings. On warm days, you can use the additional fan function. The unit can be placed anywhere in the room, but it is not intended for warming the changing area directly.

At Reer, you'll find a range of safety products for typical hazards around the house:

These include, for example, the screw-in outlet covers in a 20-pack, which let you secure several outlets. Cabinet and drawer locks keep small children from opening certain compartments on their own. There are also corner and edge guards, window locks and anti-tip straps for furniture, among other things. Many of these products are also available in multipacks if you want to secure several spots in your home.

Reer safety gates for doors, stairs and beds

Reer offers doorway and stair gates made of metal and wood that are either pressure-mounted or screwed in, depending on the model. These include, for example, the T-Gate and S-Gate models with Active-Lock closure. For older children, there are also the By My Side bed rails, which attach to the side of the bed and are designed to keep your child from rolling out of bed while sleeping.

Reer baby monitors: audio, video or app

Reer baby monitors come in 3 types:

Audio baby monitors such as the Rigi Digital transmit sounds from the nursery.
Video baby monitors such as the BabyCam S also show you your baby on a separate display and work without Wi-Fi.
With app-based baby monitors such as the IP-Cam, you can view the camera image on your smartphone as long as there is an internet connection.

Frequently asked questions about Reer

Which Reer heater is right for you depends mainly on how you want to set it up at the changing area. The FeelWell is suited to permanent wall mounting, while the EasyHeat Flex with floor stand can be set up wherever you like. The FeelWell 2in1 allows both mounting options. The HeatCare+ is also available as a wall-mounted and a standing unit. It offers fast warmth and a remote control. If you want to warm the room air rather than the changing area, the FeelWell Air 3in1 with an additional fan function is an alternative.

With the Reer FeelWell, FeelWell 2in1 and EasyHeat Flex heaters, the distance between the heater and the changing table must be at least 100 cm. In addition, a minimum distance of 35 cm from the ceiling, 20 cm from side walls and 65 cm from flammable materials must be maintained. Other Reer models may have different requirements. So always follow the installation and safety instructions in your unit's user manual.

Reer offers safety gates for different areas of the home. For doorways and stairs, there are wooden or metal gates that are either pressure-mounted or screwed in, depending on the model. At the top of the stairs, gates that are firmly screwed in should be used. Stove guards such as Classic and Basic make it harder for children to reach hot cooktops. For older children, Reer also offers the By my side bed rails to prevent falls.

Reer offers audio baby monitors, video baby monitors with their own screen and IP cameras with app control. The range depends on the model: Reer states up to 250 m for the Neo Digital audio baby monitor and up to 600 m for the Cosmo Audio. According to the manufacturer, the BabyCam S and BabyCam XL video baby monitors reach up to 300 m. Inside buildings, the actual range may be shorter due to walls and other obstacles. With the IP cameras, the signal is transmitted over the internet to your smartphone, so you can access the camera image even when you're out and about.

The Reer Vapomat, Vapomax and Vapomat S bottle sterilizers disinfect previously cleaned baby bottles, nipples and other accessories with hot steam. The process takes about 10 minutes, after which the units switch off automatically. According to Reer, the contents stay disinfected for about three hours with the lid closed. Alternatively, Reer offers a UV-C sterilizer that works without water and also has a drying function.
